Bloomfield's first Bicentennial banner made its debut Sunday at the
annual Felis 50 benefit. The event was organized by Bloomfield personal trainer Steve Crooks. Nearly 500 cans of food was donated to the United Way food pantry. Bloomfield animal shelter volunteers offered pet adoption information, and signed up one of their smaller dogs for the walk. At the last minute, he was disqualified by Foley Field management for having too many legs up on the competition.
